A unique entity that appeared during the First Rapture Invasion.
It devoured everything including Nikkes, Raptures, and large weapons, thus earning its nickname, Gluttony.
While it is classified as a Tyrant-class entity, it far exceeds that classification in terms of danger and specifications.

Gluttony is a tyrant class Rapture whose appearance resembles that of a blob with numerous mouths. It serves as the main antagonist of the event, Unbreakable Sphere, and is also encountered at the end of Chapter 38 as a boss.

Description

Gluttony is both one of the oldest and one of the strongest Raptures on record. It was active during the First Rapture Invasion, having devoured an intercontinental ballistic missile intended to destroy the Lift, expelling its energy back to the launch site, ultimately destroying it in the process. However, as humanity retreated underground via the Ark, Gluttony sightings gradually diminished to the point of near nonexistence.

It's normally found patrolling the Lift, however it can be persuaded to move if something powerful catches its attention. It has a sole directive that it serves and there is nothing that can be done to stop it: To devour anything and everything in its path. Be it Nikke, or Rapture, few have been able to escape its mighty maw, let alone survive getting eaten.

Gluttony uses a silver liquid which acts as a powerful gastric acid released in cycles, dissolving anything that comes into contact with the substance, converting them into the same silver liquid. Gluttony generates energy through this method. However, it is incapable of melting away natural substances such as saltwater. It appears to be unable to dissolve Little Mermaid's Spindrift bubbles either as they will also twist and contort. According to her, it is like "two armies battling for territory."

The worst part about Gluttony, however, is not simply its size or its appearance. But the fact that each and every one seen on the surface is only an offshoot of the main body. Gluttony is capable of severing these mouth organs if it feels threatened by whatever's attacking them, meaning no one encounter with Gluttony is ever the last. On the upside, the connection between the mouths and the main body make Gluttony uniquely susceptible to certain attack vectors, such as core infection via E2 Crystals. Moreover, in the event that Gluttony is forced to sever a mouth, it tends not to return to wherever the mouth was lost, seemingly unwilling to risk losing another.
