Profile[]

Though she struggled to understand what it truly meant to be a successor, Rapi came to realize inheriting Red Hood’s mission didn’t mean she herself had to become the deceased Goddess. Instead, it meant she had to honor what came before her and continue it in her own way.

After coming to terms with what she needed to do (and after an encouraging final visit from Red Hood herself), Rapi undergoes a transformation, giving her a new outfit, blazing red hair, and a renewed will. It also granted her access to Seven Dwarves Zero, a weapon created by Snow White for Red Hood from over a century ago.

With this new power, Rapi vows to carry on her mentor’s legacy while also forging a path of her own. And with the support of the people she holds dear, she is confident that she will be able to see it through.

Nikke Backstory[]

Rapi, who has truly inherited the essence of Red Hood, equips herself with the weapon, Seven Dwarves Zero, which is engraved within her cherished promise.

She seeks to become the Goddess of Victory and reclaim the surface.

Personality[]

I will carry on what has been passed down to me. In the meantime, I ask that you watch over me.

Following her transformation, Rapi has become more expressive compared to before. Where she once kept everyone at a professional arm's length, Rapi is far more emotive and social. This is especially apparent in her interactions with her team and peers, where she won't fail to make a wisecrack if she feels it.

Perhaps as a side effect of Red Hood's assimilation, Rapi has become more...forward...when it comes to intimacy and physical contact. She has on multiple occasions staked claims on her commander, made swooning comments about him, even making jokes(?) about being his paramour or even his wife in front of others.

Chapter 34[]

Rapi has inherited Red Hood's legacy and activates her over-specifications, clad in a red suit similar to her predecessor. She fought and defeated the recently awakened Behemoth.

Event[]

Footstep, Walk, Run[]

Having understood what it truly meant to succeed Red Hood, Rapi decides it's time to tell her comrades about her past. Who she was, and what she went through prior to meeting them all.

Boom! The Ghost![]

Joining the protagonist and Elegg on a mission to investigate the ghost ship Utopia, Rapi dons a new swimsuit, even dragging Dorothy into the mix. Though even after attaining the power of her mentor, it would appear Rapi still can't get over her fear of ghosts.

Yes, My Commander[]

Wishing to entice the protagonist into spending a night with her, Rapi dons a revealing nightgown and brandishes a "Yes" pillow. But of all the preparations she made, Anis and Neon's interference wasn't on the list.

Bond Story[]

Episode 1 - I Miss You[]

Early in the morning, Rapi knocks on the protagonist's door and asks him if he has any plans today. To both their recollections, he doesn't, but Rapi seemingly acknowledges the answer and leaves without further explanation, much to the man's confusion.

Some time later, Rapi knocks on his door again, commenting on the humidity of his room and opening a window. She then leaves once again without any elaboration, even ignoring his attempts to ask her.

The third time Rapi knocks on his door, the protagonist preempts her request to open it for her, inviting her to talk inside. Despite her insistence that she has no particular topics to discuss or requests for him, he presses her for a reason why she would keep skittering in and out of his room like this. After a moment, Rapi glances off to the side, cheeks flushed with sheepishness, and professes that...she misses him.

The protagonist's befuddled silence allows her to continue. It would seem that the transformation Rapi underwent has done a few things to...reduce her inhibitions, so to speak. Impulses, like going outside, gorging on sweets, or even just wanting to see her (beloved) commander come far more easily and are far more difficult to ignore. A task made more difficult by the fact that today, Rapi has no particular tasks to distract herself with.

Rapi comments that she's talked too much and is about to depart, but the protagonist stops her to ask something. Is seeing him really the only thing she wanted to do? Would his visage be enough to satisfy these newly-surfaced desires of hers? After some more pressing, Rapi admits that she wants to do things with him. Going out for a walk, having a meal, shopping together...

The protagonist cuts off Rapi's listings to decide that today, whatever she wants to do, they'll do it together. Rapi goes silent for a moment before her face cracks into a smile, "thank you" already on her lips.

Just outside the room, Anis and Neon gossip about their overhearing of this little date between Rapi and their commander. Anis muses that even though their leader has become more proactive after her transformation, she still seems to be harboring some reservations. She decides that as the person who has more life experience (disregarding how Rapi is likely older than her in many respects), they need to follow Rapi on her date and maybe even give her a hand.

The protagonist and Rapi take a walk in the park, though the atmosphere is somewhat awkward. Rapi is walking ahead of him, always maintaining her pace with his so as to remain five-steps' distance away from him. The protagonist tries to make some small talk, but between the distance and lack of readily-available topics, it soon falls flat.

Eventually, the protagonist suggests to Rapi that they walk side by side, to better facilitate conversation. Rapi realizes what she's doing and apologizes. She's gotten so used to the feeling of needing to protect him that she just walked in front of him without even thinking about it. The protagonist then suggests that they walk together, and holds out his hand. Rapi tentatively reaches out to take it...only for a whistle to pierce the air.

For whatever reason, Miranda appears out of nowhere, ruining the moment announcing the presence of A.C.P.U. and telling them to stop.

Episode 2 - A Desire to Walk Together[]

According to Miranda, an anonymous party tipped the police off that Rapi and the protagonist were going to transact some illicit goods or "exchange forbidden firepower techniques" in this very park, and that officers are to stop them from holding hands at all costs. Rapi sighs and almost immediately pegs Anis and Neon as the culprits, while the protagonist tries to explain that no illegal activity is taking place. Miranda doesn't find anything suspicious in their hands and pockets, but taking the (false) reports seriously, interrogates them on their actions in the park.

Seeing Rapi choke up on trying to explain that they were going to hold hands, the protagonist takes over, grasping Rapi's hand in his own and explaining that he wanted to hold her hand so they'd walk side-by-side. Miranda accepts the explanation, complimenting the two on their camaraderie...but still insisting on keeping tabs on them due to the reports. Sadly, invoking Poli fails to scare her away, since the senior officer actually authorized this stakeout.

As Miranda dives into the bushes, the protagonist wonders what Anis and Neon's latest bout of shenanigans is supposed to do. He then notices that Rapi's hand is trembling ever so slightly in his grip, but when he tries to let go, she only grabs it harder. The Counters leader insists that she wanted to hold his hand earlier, and that they should keep doing so as they walk together. He obliges, and the two walk hand-in-hand, making small talk as they go.

In the bushes, Anis commends Miranda on some impressive acting to get the two to hold hands...only for Miranda to assert she wasn't acting, and is taking their (false) report with as much seriousness as she can muster. Neon wonders if perhaps the couple would've eventually held hands without their meddling, but Anis thinks otherwise. Eventually, they lose sight of Rapi and the protagonist, so Counters decides to follow after while leaving Miranda to her stakeout.

The would-be couple finds their way to the shopping mall, still holding hands. Rapi guides the protagonist to a general store where they can buy most of the Nikkes' daily necessities. Given how they're replenishing the communal supplies, she sticks to the generic brands in bulk purchases, so those who have a preference or brand loyalty have to buy it at their own expense.

The protagonist then asks Rapi if she uses the generics. Freezing for a moment, Rapi admits she actually switched recently...and chose the same brand that he himself uses. She figured that if it was so good he stuck with it every day, maybe she'd give it a shot. She definitely did not have any ulterior motives in doing so. He then asks if she likes the brand, which she admits she does. The scent and feeling it gives her...it's like she always has him beside her...

The unabashed affection being thrown his way sends the protagonist for a loop. After an awkward silence, Rapi strides off to file the order for the toiletries with precision that speaks of a routine, only to find something odd. The terminal tells her their usual shampoo and body wash are out of stock, which is odd since this is the time she normally swings by to restock the Outpost, and this store always has a decent supply at that time. That's when Anis and Neon "coincidentally" bump into the two, and after sidling past the latter's usual babbling of firepower, reveal that they actually preempted Rapi and ordered a restock of the Outpost's supplies ahead of time.

Rapi senses what the two are up to, and smiles as she thanks them for the help. She then beckons the protagonist to follow her out the store. Thanks to Counters' serendipitous preempting of her restock order, the two now have some free time to do some personal shopping. She thanks the other Nikkes for the assist, asking that they do this for her from time to time, much to their reluctance...

Episode 3 - A Desire to Eat Together[]

Thanks to Anis and Neon's intervention, Rapi has some free time to shop for...something. She's not sure what she wants exactly, but she knows she wants a souvenir to commemorate this day. To that end, she wants it to be something that lasts, rather than an edible or consumable. The protagonist gets an idea, and guides Rapi over to a photo booth. She manages to connect the dots, and comments that a photo would work wonderfully as a memorabilia. Even though she's not the most selfie-inclined, she's willing to do it if it's with him.

The two enter the booth, and the protagonist sets it to take two copies of the photos, with a basic theme. Rapi suggests they take as many copies as she can foot the bill for. Not only so that they have backup copies, but to adorn various places, such as wallets, photo frames, and the dorms. Agreeing to the prospect, the protagonist adjusts the settings and locks them in.

While waiting for the camera to take the photo, Rapi notices they're being cut off at the edges and suggests they scoot closer together. The two end up so close together that their shoulders are touching, their intertwining hands sending jolts through their veins just as the shutter goes off...

Afterwards, the couple looks at the photos taken, commenting on how one shot or another makes them look weird while their partner looks perfectly fine. One of the protagonist's comments elciits a giggle from Rapi, and the beaming on her face pushes him to take another photo, just so he can capture her smile. Rapi refuses, claiming that her laughter, her smile, is for him alone, not the camera. The two converse for so long that their stomachs begin to growl, so the protagonist offers to treat Rapi to a meal.

Entering downtown, Rapi notes that the restaurant they're at is known for being on the expensive side of things. She doesn't particularly care what they eat so long as she's with him, but agrees with the idea that since they're already out here, they may as well make this meal special, and they step inside.

After being seated, the two look over the menu. Rapi tries to weasel out of choosing by claiming she'll just pick the same as the protagonist, but at his prodding, actually leafs through the menu herself. They soon run into another dilemma; everything on the menu looks so good that neither can decide what to order. Eventually, Rapi suggests they each order a few things, then portion it out and share it. The protagonist agrees, and they order some salad, pasta, and steak to share with each other.

While waiting for their order, the two converse some more. The protagonist ponders if this is his first time eating in a restuarant with Rapi like this, which it sort of is, when one considers the context. Rapi herself was never the type to dine in at aesthetic establishments like this, opting simply to seek out basic sustenance. Yet, being here, being with the commander she so cherishes...there's a joy to it she didn't notice before, as she gazes warmly into his eyes.

Eventually, the food arrives, and the waitress tells the two that the provided drinks are free. She explains that two other women in the establishment asked for drinks to be sent the couple's way, which she chalks up to the two looking so good together. The protagonist wonders who would do this, but Rapi waves it off in lieu of enjoying the meal.

At another table, Anis crows in triumph. The "soda" she sent to the couple is actually a cocktail with a high alcohol content. Her plan is to get Rapi and the protagonist drunk enough to loosen up and let their passions flow. The waitress then comes over to their table asking if they'd like to order anything for themselves. Anis figures that since they're taking up seats, they're practically obligated to do so, though she bemoans that this will cut her budget so hard she'll be subsisting on soda for the rest of the month. Neon kicks it off by asking for the same drink they asked to be sent.

Episode 4 - A Desire to Drink Together[]

With the freshly-cooked steak sitting between them, both Rapi and the protagonist move to take the knife and cut it, only to accidentally brush fingers in the process. The two debate over who cuts the streak for who, and eventually, the protagonist capitulates when Rapi says she wants to cut it for him. Rapi takes the knife and begins meticulously cutting the steak into smaller pieces. Once done, she presents the dish to the protagonist, who partakes.

The steak is well-made, but the fact that Rapi cut it for him somehow adds an extra appeal to the flavor. Seeing the Counters leader abstain from eating to simply enjoy watching, the protagonist takes a forkful of the steak and offers it up to Rapi, inviting her to eat together. With flushed cheeks, she accepts and opens her mouth so he can feed her.

Rapi compliments the taste of the steak, but the fact that the protagonist fed it to her somehow adds an extra appeal to the flavor. He ponders how he intended to give Rapi the fork and let her serve herself, but she took the initiative to lean in and bite the steak off the fork. In a desperate bid to think of something else, the protagonist downs the complimentary drink they were provided. It's certainly refreshing, and he tells Rapi as much, but he noticed the distinct flavor of alcohol in the drink. Rapi tries her own drink, and sure enough, there's a noticeable concentration of alcohol in it. The protagonist assures that this much isn't enough to affect him too adversely, to which Rapi comments that despite her disinterest towards alcohol, she wouldn't mind making an exception to drink with him. After quaffing another portion of the drink, Rapi notes that the alcohol hits a little hard for her liking.

After the meal concludes, the protagonist accepts Rapi's gratitude for the meal, but also notes a slight tipsiness to the Counters leader. Rapi asserts she's fine, then takes a napkin to wipe some sauce on the protagonist's face. Looking at the napkin, she suddenly monologues about the deleterious effects on alcohol on one's inhibitions. The two step outside, followed by the staff's words of gratitude for their patronage.

At their table, Anis is trying to urge Neon to get up so they can follow after the couple. Unfortunately, the firepower maniac downed too much alcohol to stay conscious, still babbling about her favorite thing in her sleep. Anis accepts the bill from a waitress, deadpans at the amount, and decides that Rapi and the protagonist can handle the rest of the intimacy without further external aid. She then turns to the waitress and says they'll settle the bill once Neon wakes up.

Episode 5 - A Desire to Hug[]

Walking through downtown, Rapi comments that the night air is helping her shake off the light haze of the alcohol. The protagonist comments on the novelty of seeing this new, unfettered side of Rapi, who then ponders on whether she always harbored these desires. Looking at the darkened sky, Rapi decides it's about time for them to head back. Even though they've yet to do everything on her list, she figures they can save it for the next outing.

The protagonist escorts Rapi back to the dorms, a slight reversal from how she normally walks him back to his quarters. He bids her goodbye and heads, but she grabs his sleeves and stop to ask him. Since she wants to live by doing what she wants as he does, she wonders if he wouldn't mind doing one last thing for her. She wonders if he would...let her hug him? Just a little?

To the dumbstruck protagonist, Rapi asserts this isn't the alcohol talking. There's more than a few reservations in her mind, but with how special this day has been, she's trying to muster up courage however and whenever she can. Seeing the faint pleading in her eyes, the protagonist opens his arms wide and beckons Rapi to come closer. With a smile on her face, Rapi tentatively inches closer to him, and wraps her arms around his waist...

Rapi muses that the protagonist's frame is a lot bigger and sturdier than she expected. The feeling of his heart thumping in his chest. After basking in the moment, Rapi thanks the protagonist for obliging her request and says it's enough. Only the protagonist doesn't want to stop, holding her more tightly in his embrace. It's a different sensation to what she felt when she was the one hugging him...and more dangerous. Rapi warns that this will only make her desires froth even more, but the protagonist remains unfazed. Even if she asks him to do something he may think is "strange" or puts him in a "difficult position," he wants to do it. He wants to fulfill all of her desires together. With a warm smile, Rapi beckons the protagonist ever closer, and the two embrace until the latter's legs are sore and he has to return to his room.

The emptiness of the Commander's Room is cold, but the protagonist can still feel Rapi's lingering warmth. He sets his photo with Rapi on the desk, takes a shower, and falls into bed. As his consciousness drifts off, his mind fills with all the things he and Rapi will do together in the future...
